Also contains Tasca's review of Bellini and Galli, Storia del PCI, previously published in «Critica sociale» in 1954.«Employing a part of his personal archives, Tasca attempts to demonstrate that there was no political homogeneity between the components of the leading groups which promoted the schism at Livorno. Moreover, he criticizes the minority bases of the schism, as well as the subordination of Gramsci and Togliatti toabstract maximalism and to Bordiga's leadership» (M.B.).
